Steps

1. Do not cry in front of him, you don’t want to look like a basket case and make him think that he’s making the right decision. Hug him goodbye, wish him luck with life, and leave with grace.
2. Get in the car and let out a good scream when you’re at least two blocks away from his house. Blast angry, loud music, and let it out.
3. Drive to your best friend’s house for a shoulder to cry on. They will be able to make you laugh and say all the right things to make you feel better, such as: You’re too sweet, pretty, nice, popular, and smart for him.
4. CRY….have a long, good cry.
5. Eat plenty of ice cream; your emotions deserve it.
6. Box up all the things that he gave you, or that remind you of him. Put them in a box for a time when you’re less emotional and want to look back at them. Do not act hastily and throw out or burn things, you may want them in the future.
7. Print out all emails he sent you; gather up all letters he wrote you. Then, delete the emails and give the paper copies to a friend to keep in a safe place. This will prevent you from going back and obsessing over the emails, but they will still be there if you want them in the future.
8. Cut off all contact with him for at least a month; this will help the healing process because you won’t be talking to him all the time.
9. If he goes to your school, always look good. Don’t look like you’re trying, but always look good so that he regrets his decision.
10. When he does come back around, (because you’re too great of a girl for him to not come back), make him work for your attention. Even though you may still like him, make him think that he has to win you back, and that you have other prospects out there waiting for you.
11. The rest is up to you!

Life is really good when we know how to live with it. Sometimes we feel down because of the problems we are facing but we never knew the Lord’s plans for us.
